Giants. Welcome to Greenbay Giants, make sure you bring your long underwear. It's going to get cold up here.

Since the terms "Frozen Tundra" and "Ice Bowl" are getting a little worn out, maybe we can come up with some new names. Years ago you may recall the term "Big D vs Little D" when the cowboys would face the broncos. Since the NYG's new nick is the "G Men" maybe we can refer to the upcoming matchup as "Big G vs Little G". Or how about the F.F.F. (Favre Fighting Frostbite) Bowl?

Because so many fans and players will be freezing their "niblets" in this 5 degree game, maybe we should jump on this situation and try to take advantage of it. We could invent something like a battery operated heated jockstrap so the "boys" can stay warm (sure hope no short circuit occurs).

Anyway, I've seen some biased, heads in the clouds, Packer fans referring to this upcoming game as a cakewalk. Hey, the Giants just contained a Dallas team that the Packers defense got RUN OVER BY. Also the Giants beat the Bears in the latter part of the season 20 - 16. We lost twice this year to the Bears, giving up a total of OVER 60 points. While Green Bay was 13-3 this season, 5 of those wins were squeakers that could have easily gone the other way. It's also a fact that in the Packers last 10 regular season games, only one of them was against a team with a record over .500.

On Jan 12th they beat an overrated Seattle team that won what many consider the weakest division in the NFL. While my heart will be rooting for the Packers, my brain says take the 8 points.

I'm with you that this is going to be a much closer game than most Packers fans think.

The Giants are playing well on the road, but playing at Lambeau isn't easy either.

Green Bay will truly have to earn its trip to the Super Bowl.
